Privacy
This notice covers calipercrm.com and the WhatsApp conversations people start with us from it. It is written in plain terms; if anything here is unclear, ask us and we will answer.
This website collects nothing
There is no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, no embedded video and no font loaded from someone else’s server. The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Our web server keeps ordinary request logs so we can keep the site running and secure.
What we collect when you message us
Pressing Message us on WhatsApp opens WhatsApp on your own device with a message already typed. Nothing reaches us until you choose to send it. When you do, we receive:
- your WhatsApp phone number and the profile name WhatsApp shows us;
- the messages you send us, and the replies we send you;
- anything else you choose to tell us — your name, your business, what you are looking for, when you would like to be contacted.
We ask for as little as possible, and we do not ask for health information. Please do not send us medical details.
What we use it for
Two things: answering you, and contacting you back about your enquiry. That is the whole list. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your information and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. It is handled by the people at CaliperCRM who need it to answer you, and it is stored on servers we run in Germany.
WhatsApp messages travel through Meta, which operates WhatsApp and therefore handles your message on the way to us — that is inherent to messaging any business on WhatsApp, and Meta’s own terms govern that part.
How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry while it is useful for answering you and for any follow-up you have asked for, and we delete it when it no longer is.
Asking to see or delete your information
Email info@calipercrm.com and say what you would like — a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. Please write from, or tell us, the WhatsApp number you messaged from, so we can find the right conversation. You can also reply STOP in the conversation and we will not message you again.
The law we work under
We handle personal data under Uganda’s Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019, and its Regulations. That Act gives you rights over your own information — to be told what is held, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted — and it is the framework we intend the practices above to satisfy.
